Boarding at San Juan Animal Hospital *
When your pets are boarded here we provide the food (Science Diet), blankets, love and care. If you want your pet to eat a special diet you are welcome to bring that food. There is no charge of administration of medication if prescribed by our hospital. If medications are not prescribed by San Juan Animal Hospital, there is a fee for a brief exam by Dr. Mannix in order for him to determine the safety of the drug and to evaluate the dosing plan. For any injectable medications or after hour visits by either a technician or doctor, additional fees will be rendered - Previous arrangements must be made.

When your pet boards with us they are rotated from outside runs during the day to inside runs in the evening. The outside runs are cooled with a professional misting system. We also have an isolation ward for animals diagnosed with a contagious condition. We also offer offsite 5 to 10 minute walks and exercise by trained staff with client's acceptance at a minimal additional fee.

Vaccinations
We require current vaccines or titer tests for the main infectious dog diseases (Distemper, Parvo Virus, Bordetella and Rabies) and cat diseases (Panleukopina, Rhinotarcheitis, Calici Virus and Rabies). We encourage titers of the antibody levels of vaccination as opposed to routine vaccinations. For dogs, we do require annual DHPP, BORDETELLA, every six months and rabies be current with licensing schedule. For cats we require FVRCP AND RABIES, but also recommend FELV and FIP annually.
